This is a good series on beginner's craps. I particularly like the final advice given. While it sounds great to be able to reduce the house edge to .099% like every book on craps describes it means you are betting a lot of money and you still have worse than even odds! Even at even odds most of us have limit as to what we think is a reasonable bet.
Say I am playing you against a coin toss. Will you bet $100? $1,000? I am sure you would stop at $10,000. I know *I* won't take that bet. The risk is too high.
So the advice to stick to 2X odds on the Pass Line and Come is great advice to get started with.
